Orange-y Berry Blast

This delicious recipe tastes like the first day of summer and is full of micronutrients that are sure to leave you feeling your best

Ingredients
  

  • 1 orange large, peeled
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries
  • 1/2 cup your favorite milk raw, almond, oat, soy
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: If you haven’t already, peel your orange, measure out the berries, and slice your banana into chunks for easier blending.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Add the almond milk or your chosen liquid to the blender first. This helps the blades move freely. Then, toss in the frozen berries, orange segments, banana slices, and yogurt.
  3. Blend Away: Start the blender on a low speed and gradually increase to high, blending for 30–60 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of almond milk to thin it out.
  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste your smoothie and, if needed, add honey or maple syrup for more sweetness. Blend briefly to combine.
  5. Serve: Pour your Orange-y Berry Smoothie Blast into a glass, garnish with a slice of orange or a few berries on top, and enjoy immediately!
