I’m sitting in my living room right now, watching the afternoon light pour through these tall windows, and I’m thinking about how differently this space feels compared to when we first moved in. Living room design isn’t really about design at all—it’s about creating a container for your actual life, the messy beautiful ordinary sacred […]

Why does it feel like no matter how much we stock up, we’re still running to the store every week? That frantic midweek dash for just one forgotten ingredient or the rush to grab something for dinner—it’s something we’ve all experienced. For a lot of us, it can feel like no matter what we do, […]

more on me • more on me
I didn't always have this life. The income on my own terms, the calendar that answers to me, the years I get to spend with my family instead of an office desk.
A few years ago, my boss reminded me during workplace mandates: "You may not have a choice." She was right. And it made me rebuild everything. So we started small. One bill at a time. Whatever we were renting, leasing, or financing, we set out to own outright. Each thing we paid off was one less dependency. Enough of them, and we became income-optional in a few short years instead of waiting until 65.
Today, that quiet stacking is why I run my own business, raise my family on our terms, and teach thousands of families to do the same.
